I wanted to create a magazine that was relevant, inspiring and appealing for those in the pet industry. It features petpreneurs stories and entrepreneurial journeys, as well as tips, advice and recommendations.

To celebrate the launch I am running a competition where you could win three months free membership to Woof Woof Network Members Club and designsta.com. To enter, let me know what you enjoyed about the first issue by leaving a comment below. Competition closes Sunday 2nd April at 8pm (UK time).

I found the interviews about Beco and Ministry of Dogs particularly useful and interesting.

  • Kathy Stomber

Finally a magazine that actually helps! Love it all, it especially the 10 Tweet Ideas For Your Business.
Would love to see an article about getting someone inexpensive to start your first website.

  • Wayne Eagles

    A fantastic read, thank you!

We particularly liked the feature on enrichment toys from https://ruffshop.co.uk/ they do free shipping on orders over Β£75 too.
The beautiful and expertly made dog collars, leads and accessories from https://www.dukelovesfergie.com are a real treat if you and your furry friend enjoy the finer things in life. We can’t wait until the next issue!

  • Talitha Spaink

Hi Katie, again an AWESOME idea that can help us petpreneurs in the right direction!

What I enjoyed most is the diversity; products, people, books, strategies, tips and pointers. Super cool! Also love the design! And super recognizable as being part of the Woof Woof Network πŸ˜‰
If I may be so rude to make a few suggestions; make the front page a bit more appealing (usage of different fonts maybe), maybe make the index clickable per article and in the Editors Pick I kinda missed an introduction on who the man or woman is behind ‘Duke Loves Fergie’. Would have loved to get to know the person behind the brands πŸ™‚

Overall GREAT magazine and already looking forward to the next issue!!

  • Team Naturo

What a fantastic idea and another great resource for pet based businesses.

We noticed the Deignsta badge on your website yesterday and it looks like a brilliant tool to use. We’d love to try it πŸ™‚ Looking forward to reading the magazine and possible being featured in it at some point!

What a FANTASTIC magazine!! Huge congratulations Katie on creating something so brilliant, informative, inspiring and downright fab! I loved seeing some of my favourite pet brands mentioned telling their stories (something I’m really passionate about hearing) as well as helpful, practical tips. Think this is an awesome platform which will help lift and inspire so many other pet businesses. Looking forward to the next already! xxx

It’s the simple things that I love. The interviews with everyone are so interesting to learn about how everyone works and why they do what they do! Is a very special dog community that we’re lucky to be a part of!

  • Lynda

Loving the bright look and great pics. Twitter tips also much appreciated.
Look forward to the next edition.

  • Keri

Fantastic. As a new pet business you have really opened my eyes as to how you may be able to help me in the future. I love putting faces and stories to brands. And the phrase about not getting it right just get started….so true. Mistakes are part of learning. Thank you

  • Janet Grindlay

Katie this magazine is truly fantastic, just loved reading all the articles, it’s great to hear all about their businesses and products/ services.
I found the twitter tips very useful and will be putting them into practice.
Looking forward to seeing what exciting news and products you bring to us next time.

  • Gemma Belcher-Russon

Really enjoyed the first issue of the Woof Woof Network Mag, it was full of interesting articles I particularly enjoyed reading about other businesses like Ministry of Dog and Beco. There was even helpful tips about social media and running your business ,
The whole magazine really motivated me this week it helped me get out of the tut I felt I was in, like a lot of us small business owners. I’ve found it handy to keep on my phone to refer back to the tips when I get a bit overwhelmed and start doing too many things at once!
Looking forward to the next edition I’ve signed up to get a notification πŸ™‚

  • Hannah Clark

Well done Katie, what a triumph!
I loved reading about other people’s stories/ pet business’s. Fantastic contributors all with great business’s/ products.
As always your advice for Petpreneur’s shines through and I have certainly made note of the ’10 tweet tips’ and will be referring back to it in the future.
Looking forward to the next edition already.

  • Caroline

Amazing work Katie! Was honoured to be in the first issue, but really loved reading the stories behind some brands I love. Can’t wait for the next release πŸ™‚ Do we really have to wait 3 months? πŸ˜‰ x

  • Sarah

What a fantastic idea! I really enjoyed reading the mag and read it cover to cover. What’s really refreshing is that absolutely everything is relevant – a lot of magazines have so many unnecessary and irrelevant pages that you end up skipping most of it, but this was great. It’s lovely to see interviews with successful people too – so great for inspiration. Can’t wait to read the next issue.

  • Jessica Handley

It’s was such a fantastic first issue, its always great to find a magazine that brings together the best dog brands and advice and fun all into one place. I particularly found the Top ten twitter tips very useful, along with the interview of the of the co- founder of Beco pets its always great to hear about the people behind such great such brands.
Well done we can’t wait for the next issue.
